Only Joking, but I bet that got your attention
I hadn't owned an Amiga since 1998 when I gave my A1200 fitted with a 512Mb HD and 8Mb fast ram away to a poor computerless fellow student...
...what a mistake.
Well after five years dabbling with emulators (WinUAE mostly) I picked up a CD32 off ebay. Another few months passed until I got round to actually getting a joypad and some games for it.
The likes of Chaos Engine, Banshee, Project X are still as good as they ever were. It's a shame that Liberation, Subwar, & Gunship 2000 are not what I remember at all! I'm not even going to try some of the other 3D games that came out like Fears and Alien Breed 3D. Instead I'll look out for the top down shooters and may possibly get one of the Floppy drive adaptors for some of the great early A500 platform & shoot em ups that never made it to CD.
In other computing areas I'm a SQL Server DBA so mostly shy away from Microsoft stuff at home and instead have a G5 Powermac, Intel Macbook pro & PS3.
Nice to meet you all.
