What is it?
  • VOYAGER is new AMIGA video adapter cable from RGB to YPbPr!
  • Extreme solution developed inside the original DB23 cover shell. Now you can connect your AMIGA to any TV/monitor that has a YPbPr video input
  • PAL & NTSC compatible (it means that you can use with your Amiga PAL and TV PAL or Amiga NTSC and TV NTSC)
  • Tested 240p, 288p, 576i ,480i resolutions (15KHz NTSC and PAL). Please remember that this adapter does not upscale your video.! Sync is sent 1:1 to your TV/monitor.
  • After several visual comparisons I can state that the quality is superior to the classic RGB connection (example SCART cable)

IMPORTANT NOTICE
  • Video cable converter is made with original & genuine D-Sub DB23 female connector and its cover shell!
  • YPbPr connectors are moulded grade (green...blue...red)
  • Don't forget that you are buying an exclusive and professional product for your AMIGA
  • Project is copy-protected. Development is owned and performed by me. I spent many weeks optimizing it and obtaining this result..Any reproduction/resale/modification/copying is not allowed/prohibited

With VOYAGER you can connect your AMIGA to your TV/monitor with YPbPr

Compatible with the following systems:

  • Commodore Amiga A500 / A500 +
  • Commodore Amiga A600 / A600HD
  • Commodore Amiga A1000
  • Commodore Amiga A1200 / A1200HD
  • Commodore Amiga A1500
  • Commodore Amiga A2000
  • Commodore Amiga A3000
  • Commodore Amiga A4000
  • Commodore Amiga CDTV
  • Commodore Amiga CD32 (if you have video ouput expansionwith DB23F)

TV/Monitor compatibility:
The YPbPr system is not compatible with all monitors/TVs on the market... and of all the systems it is the most "mangy" as it also requires the electronic circuit to be calibrated with precision resistors. If a TV/monitor is not 100% compatible you will have problems with image freezing/strange flashes. So how to do it??

To verify compatibility it is necessary to connect the Monochrome output of the Amiga to the Y input of the monitor/TV and a stable black/white image must be obtained. If so, it means that your monitor/TV is compatible. Or if you already have a compatible monitor/TV that you have checked because you are already using it :)

VOYAGER PRICE --> 45€

Does the VOYAGER Adapter support an AMIGA computer PAL and NTSC, or does the TV/monitor also support PAL and NTSC CRT/LCD? What exactly does PAL and NTSC support mean? If I have a PAL Amiga, can I connect it to an NTSC CRT TV? Or if I have an NTSC Amiga, can I connect it to an NTSC CRT or NTSC LCD TV?

I am interested to see some screen shots of the image quality please.
Thank you!

Amiga PAL --> Monitor PAL
Amiga NTSC --> Monitor NTSC

Like the standard RGB connection PAL to PAL and NTSC to NTSC
