I've watched the following video a few times and have some questions -

1. I just don't get why he is using a A1200 case. Surely as he is basically repacking a A500 Mini it would be better to use a original A500 Case? Could this be down to just personal taste?

2. He's using a brand new mechanical keyboard (yet to be produced) but in my mind it would much better with an original A500 keyboard or A1200 keyboard as they both have the same keyboard layout. So could you just take a A500/A1200 keyboard and remove the keyboard pcb hard connector before connecting to the Keyrah V2?

1. I’m guessing the a500 mini supports aga, extra ram & speed so if you ignore the plastic case it’s an amiga mini not specifically just an a500 mini
Also an a1200 case has a smaller footprint so easier ( for me anyway ) fit on most desks infront of a screen.

2. Does the a500 mini even support the keyrah. A nice mechanical keyboard would be preferred ( with the more quiet switches ) and if usb just works out of the box.

I have a misterfpga and mist and thought similarly squeezing it into an a600 case but cant bring myself to do it as i like the pocket size and peripheral support.

It appears that the A500 mini will support the keyrah when moved into a larger case as the video shows. It also seems to be able to support a mechanical keyboard but my question was why not use an original A500/A1200 keyboard?
