I should be able to get there. As long as it's near public transportation!
Quite a few of us drive so it'll be no problem to pick up from stations or give lifts those en-route
if u can organise a chinook or a harrier to pick me up that be great

I would love to attend - Blackpool was pretty good, but we had waay too little time to chat (noise and darkness) and exchange ideas/advice/awesomeness.
A timely update would be great as soon as the location settled so I can book a flight in good time.

Actually - not withstanding everyone heading to Glasgow - what about that cracking wee pub in Manchester that hosted the "Electric Dreams" play during the Play Expo? It was called the Lass 'O' Gowrie and it's already used to these type of events as they seem to be into their retro!

I'm sorry that I've not been on here to update guys, I was planning on getting this going in the New Year as its been a bit busy my end with the house move et all.
Firstly, a little bad news. I had been talking with Arcadian at the end of last year about a combined "enthusiasts and hobbyists" event with Amiga, Atari, Sinclair and Beeb forums pooling our resources for a smaller show.
The venue was due to be in Sheffield, but unfortunately there has been a problem and it is simply not available.
However, I think it will be great just to have another get together in the style of Johnim's from last year. Maybe invite a few other forums along to see if they fancy coming along to show off their gear. Small, private and a bit of hackery fun.
I'm still a bit busy, so does a Summer get together appeal?

The Lass is a cracking venue, and they do have some private rooms upstairs. Maybe an idea.
