I am doing Amiga Tutorials for someone who like grabbing free Sprites or images from the net and porting to Amos showing sprites or making their own games as hobbies

I used http://www.spriteland.com/ which are free

I got a problem at the moment because I seem to forget how to get rid of the foreground that was Grey which cause by Get Sprite Palette and I want the foreground to be black where can I create more sprites on the screen

The Amos Code

Code:
Screen Open 0,320,200,32,Lowres

Load "DHO: STICKMAN.ABK"

Get Sprite Palette

Curs off:Flash off : Hide: Cls 0

Double Buffer

Bob 1,10,10,1

Wait key

Could you able to solve the simple problem here please :)

I did some testing and it wasnt the code that cause the problem.....it is the palette that I had to change into Bob Editor :) Now I have black background with Stick Man Sprites

One little issue there is you need Get Sprite Palette *after* Flash Off. There's a chance the palette will change from the still active Flash.

If I were in front of AMOS with this problem, I would go and manually sort out the palette to ensure colour 0 is black (assuming you want the background to be black).

Thanks HonestFlames and you are right... :)

Now I doing what you called Play field dual where you got background and foreground and create somethings like Shadow of the beast

Somethings isnt right as I need to create two Screen....one for Background and one for Foreground(Stick Man Sprites) to create like Shadow of the beast effect :)

So I decide to create 2 screen but I have forgot how it work together

As AMOS cannot use AGA, you are limited to 8 colour screens if you want to use dual playfield.

I never did use dual playfield, so I only had limited time experimenting.

The 8 colour limit is a little bit offset because both 8 colour screens have separate palettes. The limitation is there because OCS/ECS has a maximum 6 bitplane capability.

AGA, with 8 bitplane capability, can cope with 2 x 16 colour screens (2 x 4bit).
