Hi, I'm currently looking for physical AMOS Books, especially any of the following:

- AMOS Professional User's Guide by Stephen Hill & Mel Croucher (FOUND elsewhere)
- Amiga Game Maker's Manual by Stephen Hill (
FOUND, thanks davideo)
- Ultimate AMOS by Jason Holborn
- And any other AMOS books that might be of interest (except for Easy AMOS, which I already own, or the 3D stuff, which I'm not interested in).

I'm not a collector, genuinely looking for these to use as hard reference, so as long as they are in readable condition that's fine. I know they're all available digitally these days but it would be very useful for me to have these for offline study, as I'd really like to get into AMOS development seriously for an upcoming project. Thanks for your time!

Amiga Amos 3D isn't good to be honest which understandable on why you not interested in them

AMOS Professional User's Guide by Stephen Hill & Mel Croucher - Excellent thick book to look what you looking for.
- Amiga Game Maker's Manual - Quite Deep book and lots to take in thought!
- Ultimate AMOS by Jason Holborn - Very good

Good to know I'm on the right track, thanks! I've been an indie PC game developer as a hobby for many years now but I've never worked with Amiga Dev before so it's good to know these will be a help. I know a lot of people say Blitz is the better option but I don't really need a lot of speed for my projects, user friendliness and good documentation are the important things for me.

well , Blitz isnt easy language because there are Shape, Sprites , Bitmap and you have take your pick on which easier one to do and it doesnt end there and it is so complex on what you trying get on screen(there is more codes than Amiga Amos for putting Sprites on screen!) and there also Copper that you got understand as well.

You are right track, Hardest bit is keep going and see how you go.

PM sent in regards to

Apologies for the delay.

This was dropped at the pickup point this morning and should be with you in a few days.

Arrived safely today, thanks very much! Left some positive feedback (y)

Admins can feel free to close this one out if they like, didn't quite find everything but I've managed to get plenty enough to keep me going, cheers!
