Merry christmas!

I just built a uIEC into a c64c, I really like the solution I came up with and want to share.

I made a bracket that will fit over controller port 2, this should work for both versions of the c64c motherboards.

When the uIEC pcb get screwed down to this bracket it will not move. I dont need to modify the mainboard, or make a mess with hot glue :)

No button wired up, if anyone know a small nice button that dont break the design of the c64 too bad, please let me know.

Nicely done! It's definitely one of the nicer uIEC mods I've seen!

Thanks for sharing. :)

I'm impressed with this, the one I have is the external cased SD2IEC which although its a fantastic device, it would be more practical fitted int the C64c Case like yours. Some food for thought, I may even try it myself in the near future. Have you tried Jiffydos yet? it really speeds up the loading times :)

Yes, jiffydos is almost a must, easier to navigate also with the dos wedge commands in addition to the speed. :) Though, SJLOAD is an excellent piece of software for machines that lack jiffydos, its a software implementation compatible with jiffydos devices.
