ok,ive sorted this now...

basically he will be moving these next week when he fits them,im ok with that at the moment ive even offered to help fit the panels its not easy on your own...

im getting to old to hold a grudge with neighbors, lol.
maybe im too soft, but i dont care about that:) no real point to the hassle...

I've only been around to our neighbours once, 2 weeks after they moved in and they were playing music until 3 in the morning. I went around, and, after no response to my patient knocking, I went into their garden and knocked loudly on the kitchen window. The look of shock on their faces was a joy to behold, I was dressed only in my boxers. I asked them politely to turn the music down, and they complied immediately, apologising and saying they did not realise it was that loud.
The next day, they came over to apologise again, and since then we've had no repeat.
It's amazing what results you can achieve, when the button on your boxers is missing.

Good post  I reckon 'most' problems are simply down to misunderstandings. Being polite, (but firm, if needed) is the best bet. Unfortunately that doesn't always work! Especially more so with a very small minority of wannabe hard-men, and idiots.

Well, one of our neighbours is an old witch. I don't like her, 'cause she frightens our little 3 year old child ...

We've been very lucky so far, most of our neighbours have been absolutely fine with only the occasional incident. I do go to great lengths to try and get on with my immediate neighbours, and anyone in the street really. From a purely practical end, it pays dividends to have people who know you and will keep an eye out for your home and family.
We always have a BBQ every year, and invite all the neighbours over, it's much harder to hold a grudge and start acting like a kn0b end to someone you actually know, rather than someone who is just a "noise through the wall".

a small update to this, the panels have moved:)

there not fitted but they are gone from the ally.

I hear u bro....it's very annoying. my neighbours also behave worse than animals....i tried talking to them, i tried threating legal action...nothing seems to work.it's a real pain....

Back in the mists of time we had a lovely smattering of neighbours. Everyone respectful of each other, no noise, no rubbish etc.

How things can change :(

Now we have some that are ok and stick to their own business and are quiet, respectful. The rest are noisey, rude, dump rubbish all over the shop, damage stuff etc.
One of them sticks his nose into everything! Always keeps asking for stuff. He has noticed my storage and keeps trying to leach stuff which has made me paranoid. He even went to the lengths of putting up a security camera which points towards our house. It is fake but that is not the point lol! My wife brought the subject up and he was downright rude and arrogant about it.

Slowly watching the area turn to s**t!
