I acquired this "adapter box" but have no idea what it is used for. The connector will accept an Amiga 3000 keyboard onto it.

Is it used to convert the keyboard signals on an Amiga 3000?

One connector is male and one is female of the same type.

I'm going to hazard a guess that it adapts an IBM AT keyboard to work with an A3000 (conceivably it could be vice-versa, but I doubt there was a market for that.)

Ah yes.. That makes sense! I completely forgot about the full AT size connector PCs used to have.

Now I need to find an AT keyboard to test it with ...

Thanks!
