It was an early version of Amibay no doubt about that.

That's right; when Amibench 'fell over and died' at the end of 2007, there were some of us over at OldskoolUK that felt a replacement site should be set up; that site was AmiBay.

As far as i remember, there wasn't much activity at amibench.

I used it a lot in the early 2000's and have to say it was the best of what was around. But got to admit they had some problems with the Host some falling out or something.

Is Amibay a good replacement There is no comparison I suppose because of the community side and the knowledge base as well Amibay rocks

I bought and sold some nice stuff on Amibench, my A4000 came from there, and I sold a Cyberstorm 040/PPC amongst other bits and bobs. Good site. This is better though. I kick myself every day for parting with the 040/PPC card, though.

While I'm at it, my A3000 I snagged from Yahoo Auctions, around a similar time.
