What kind of cooling has been used for CPU?

The card was in a tower case. An 8cm x 8cm fan was mounted on the CPU. Worked great, cold card.

This is a regular pc fan. Available at any computer store

Sorry for maybe a silly question but the MC 68060 CPU dimensions should be 4.72 cm x 4.72 cm. It is not clear to me how to use 8 cm x 8 cm fan with that.

Thanks for the picture. Was the fan glued somehow to the CPU, or attached to the tower and just blowed the air towards CPU?

The fan was attached by a cable tie. Nothing was glued
