Hello Everyone

I would like to offer my sincere apologies to you all if I have appeared to be missing in action or have delayed responding / sending items purchased out.

Last Wednesday my Wife was involved in a horrific Car accident but thankfully apart from bruises etc she is fine physically, If she had set off 0.5 Seconds slower from the Green light she really wouldn't be with us anymore and as you can image it traumatised us severely, just thinking about it is still bringing me out in cold sweats and giving me the shakes.
The Car of course is a write off (not that that's important), but we were left without any form of transport for 3 days..

Things are getting back to normal and yesterday I even repaired a notoriously difficult Video Genie so I'm feeling back to my old self slowly too.

I am doing my best to catch up with the backlog and I apologise if I have let anyone down, those who know me well will understand that it is very out of character for me as I pride myself on always doing the best I can for you all.

Thank you again for your understanding and support and I will be in touch soon.

Best Wishes to you all
Bas :)

Like I said before mate - legend. Video Genie in a day!

I/we live in a fluffy fantasy world of yester-year regarding our hardware. There are more important things and we don't like some of the reminders that there are.

Even tho I'm like many who'll order stuff on the internet and expect it tomorrow, get agitated when it's not arrived at the exact, exact!, time stated (c'mon, we all do this), at the end of the day how important is it?

Appreciate the Christmas period.

Mate, the only thing that matters is your wife is ok, i don't think you need to apologise to anyone for such an experience :)

Woah!!

Sorry to hear that.. I drive every day with my work and I see how dangerous it can be out there.. Glad she's ok Bas.

Best wishes from the Family.

Pass my love on to Mrs TC for me matey. :grouphug:
I'm pleased she's ok

no need to apologise to anyone, send my regards please

all the best and quick recovery

We all understand that the last thing you would have been thinking about is fixing and posting computers mate.

So glad she's ok. :)

Was good to see you today and don't worry if you want to take a bit longer with the computers as its not the most important thing really. Take the time that you both need I am just glad that your wife is not seriously injured

Sorry to hear this Bas. Thoughts are with you and your wife. Hope she's fully recovered soon. Anything you need just PM me.

I know what it's like to be in a bad crash and it does knock you emotionally. One word of advice is for her to get back in a car quickly to regain her confidence behind the wheel.

Blimey Bas, I hope she makes a full and speedy recovery! hope you're ok too!

Family has to take priority matey - glad that there's no real harm done, and hope that you'll both be able to put it behind you sometime soon.

I don't think anyone here would mind waiting - they might have to wait a bit longer with all the snow!

Sorry to hear about the accident. Glad everyone is doing ok. I can imagine it's been very worrying. Hope everything gets back to normal soon.

Bas,

So sorry to hear this, and I hope she is ok, as are you all.

Please call me if you need to chat.

I just read this today, that certainly sounded like a close call and I hope you and your wife and all involved are getting better.

Best wishes to you Baz and Mrs TC and take things easy Mate ;)

That was a close call, Bas. My best wishes to your wife and you!

had no idea Bas - thank God all is OK though - my best wishes my friend!

Good to hear everything is OK. Focus on the family, this stuff can wait.

I was in a hospital for 9 out of 12 months in 2014 so I can empathize.
