As above - pls look up pics of this case - you'll find better pics than I can take right now.

Back in about 2002 - this was a very futuristic/hip case design.

I've just (more or less) gutted one - removed mobo and PSU.

Should be a viable hack for small to mid-sized PC mobos - fitting a ATX PSU should be possible (I think)
Standard drive bays 2 x 5.25" front bays for optical drives + 2 x internal 3.5" bays. 5 slots for PCI/whatever.

Its a highly engineered thing .... very cool hinged drop-down mobo plate/side panel ..... Pretty sure I've seen one or two PC mobo hacks for these.

I need to get rid now - need the space.

Price ? OK - well £0.01 then :-) Collection only from London E2 - shipping would be silly - its pretty big+heavy.
I'll leave this here for a few days - after that its the skip - which would be a bit sad :-/

[edit]

After having a cursory look into it .....

A BTX layout mobo would be a much better choice for this. It should be relatively easy to align the expansion slots - in fact this would likely determine the position of the mobo on the "bottom" plate - but there'd be work to do wrt USB, ethernet, audio ports etc.

Also - fitting a ATX PSU would be easy really - plenty of space above the optical drive cage - will just need the mains input IEC connector of the PSU "extending" to the outside of the case.

I'll take (on request) detailed internal pics/measurements .....

So come on you dremel-wielding lot - this would be a pretty cool hack !!

Well no interest, so case has now gone for re-cycling.
