Very nice and very complete Apple Mac 512Ke system. A real classic Mac setup with pretty much everything that was around back then.
Consists of:
- Apple Mac 512Ke ED, the education version of the 512Ke but otherwise identical. Fully working with bright screen and no wobble. 800k Floppy working fine and ejects floppies fine. I have some replacement floppy drive ejection gears on the way and can include on as they will probably fail over time.
- Apple M0110A Mac Plus keyboard German layout. This was an upgrade option for the 512K. Working except for the "i" key. I may be able to de-solder it and replace it with a working one.
- Apple M0100 mouse in working condition but may need a bit of a clean.
- Apple HD20, the original hard drive for the Mac that's connected to the floppy port (not the more common HD20SC). Fully working which is amazing really. Most of the ones on sale don't work anymore.
- Apple M0130 400k external floppy drive in working condition. I formatted at 400k disk and that was successful. No further testing done. Mechanism cleaned and lubricated.
- Apple Image Write in excellent condition and working perfectly (see photo). Ribbon has plenty of ink left I'd say as prints are very dark still.
- Apple Modem 1200 fully working with cable but 120V version so needs a transformer. Has the very rare power cable included. Machine has some comms software installed.
- AT&T 2500 American phone that is for decoration only as it doesn't work (nothing inside). But it looks great as part of the package!
- Box of 3.5" double density floppy disks, some with System 4 as boot disk in case you need to boot off the floppy.
The Mac boots from hard disk (has the 128k ROM) and there is a selection of software on it (some still from the original owner in Germany).
I may be able to put software on it if required, some early games that run on a 512k are on it too.
Overall a really nice setup that I'm very fond of and that I really enjoy but I need to let this go unfortunately. Would be great if tis goes to an Apple enthusiast who will look after this.
