Just a quick heads-up for anyone who's after a retro gaming Android tablet.

I was considering getting an Archos Gamepad 2, and found that there are two listings on Amazon UK, both fulfilled by Amazon, but this one is significantly cheaper than the other. Mine's just arrived, and it's fab.

If you've been considering getting one of these, or the JXD S7800B - they both have identical specs/guts - you may well want to check it out, as £99 is less than any other UK store I've found is selling either of these devices for.

Interesting. However, according to some people who reviewed this tablet on amazon.fr, the screen can easely break due to excessive pressure one the sides when playing or because of the heat of the tablet. Makes me hesitate to buy one.

Some reviews from earlier this year on Amazon UK suggested that the analogue sliders barely function, and some later ones suggest that this was restricted to one batch (the ones on mine seem to verify this - they're actually really nice). I wonder if this is the same sort of thing, where an issue occurred in one production run?

It definitely doesn't get hot enough to do anything awful, though - only lukewarm when doing some heavy lifting, the same as any other current Android gear I've encountered, really.

Anyway, thanks very much for the heads-up - I'll be keeping an eye on it, of course.

Ninja Rabbit....can you do review of it please
When I've spent more time using it, and have done more with it, I most certainly will. :D

Just giving this a quick bump because, after a brief stint at £111, these are now back down to £99 again, just in time for Christmas.
