I know that hair isn't one of your priorities (teapot, kettle, black ) but you may need a hair drier as well, to make the vinyl soften, stretch slightly and wrap around the corners more easily without creasing.

Yellow carbon fibre vinyl on the SLI bridge? (hint)

I have already asked Lisa if she has a spare one I can borrow for this little project.

I'll look into it for the SLI bridge, its a damn good idea and it doesnt get warm so providing the vinyl is flexible enough, it should be very much do-able.

Its arrived! I'll be cleaning my keyboard, removing the keys and applying this over the base over the next few days

You could maybe even change the fan controller LEDs to yellow too, to make it match even more.
