I've had earache on and off for several days now and it's driving me mad. Every time that I think I've got it under control and cleared it up, it keeps coming back. :censored: !!!

I hope that this isn't leading where I think it is... I may need to have a wisdom tooth taken out. If it if a wisdom tooth that has got infected, then I'm definitely not looking forward to that...

Off to the Doctor's next week for a diagnosis, then...:(

Ah, a most unpleasant experience is earache - especially as you've probably found painkillers really don't do much to help. :(

My sympathies, I hope you're better soon.

FWIW: Most causes are reasonably easy to fix. I hope it's not a tooth, not so straightforward.

Best of luck with the quack. :)

It's not so much the pain, it's the nausea, caused by my sense of balance being messed up - it's like having vertigo and it's not a great feeling. I keep tacking to one side, as if I'm a yacht!

I've got some sledgehammer painkillers that do work for a few hours, but they make me itchy - I think I've got a mild codeine allergy, as codeine is known to cause itchiness as a side effect.

I can make it start...

I can make it stop....

Boots - I've got it covered.....

Man that sucks, I feel for you buddy.
I had an ongoing infection which resulted in eventually having a root canal. That wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, and now I am pain free for the first time since the end of last year.
I hope it works out for you.
