Received mine today. Sadly, I don't have a PSU (+2a's doesn't fit:)), so I cannot test it yet. I'll borrow it tomorrow from a friend, just can't wait to turn it on. If anyone knows where to get the PSU, PM me. Also, I can't wait to show it to my dad - it was my father's first computer. :)

This really is a beauty, photos doesn't do it justice. I mean, the board is without any kind of dust or dirt. I knew I was getting a new one, but this exceed my expectations by far. Weird that the membranes had to be replaced, must be of very bad quality.

I recommend this deal to anyone reading this. I will also spread the word. One question, Macc. Seeing that all models with composite mod are gone, will you mod on request?

I will leave feedback as soon as I test it.

So glad its with you! Regarding the membranes, they were very poor quality and sitting in a warehouse for 25+ winters were never going to help them! Thats why i think they broke, yhey really were like brittle paper!
The comp mods i can do on request, not a problem!

I've just received mine. It's absolutely beautiful. It's practically a new machine without any sign of usage. If you start thinking about it and realise that this machine is ~25 years old... that's pretty amazing.
Macc, you made my day! Thanks!

Youre more than welcome! Feedback left!

Still some for sale! Will composite mod on request!

Finally managed to test it. Nice video out and DivIDE works as advertised. Feeback left. You are my a month-too-late santa. :)

Oh, I've forgot to say before... unit smells very nice.

Another one has sold elsewhere, just waiting for him to pick out the one he wants, will update soon as I know.

ONLY THREE LEFT!

EDIT: Initial thread updated now buyer has chosen his model

I'm interested, but it would be for gaming the old games.
Meaning, it would be used a lot.
If the membranes needed to be replaced, it somehow seems logical to me that (at least some) components also needs to be replaced?
I'm asking because I notice you describe them as "museum condition". To me it's important that it is fit for a lot of usage.

Also. I noticed BluesBrothers wrote he was with you when you found them. Does that mean you live close to eachother? Any chance I could buy his TI 99/4a in the same shipment, thus saving on postage?

Hi mr_lou! To best explain the membrane issues is try to imagine a piece of tracing paper lasting for over 25 years in different temperatures, it just wont and thats what these were like, which is why I replaced them. As for other parts, they look good, no bulging capacitors or anything like that and no reason to think they might fail any time soon.

By museum condition, basically that means you could stick them in a case in a museum and be very proud of how they look and how they look to others, ie, new.

As regards to BB, there is quite a bit of mileage between us to be honest! (87 miles to be exact!)

I can confirm nothing on mobo needs replacing. It is brand new, no dust, no nothing. It even smells nice. BTW, I'll be using this unit for gaming as well, so trust me, you need it. :)
