Found Assistance needed from UK resident

A company in the UK called EuroNetwork sells rewireable euro mains plugs, which cannot be acquired from Finland due to regulations prohibiting the mains plugs to be rewireable. EuroNetwork ships to Finland but postage is ridiculous compared to postage to UK (over £20 compared to less than £2).

Could some kind fellow Amibayer in the UK purchase two of those plugs, have them delivered to him/herself and then mail them to me in a letter. I think even that way the postage should be well below £20.

Below is a link to the plugs. I would need two in black color so that I can convert my Spectrum +3 and Atari 65XE PSUs compatible with Euro mains jacks.

I usually just change the whole power lead at the other end using a cable with plug that I took from something like an old lamp. That way you have a sealed plug (which is more robust), it's as cheap as you can get and it looks more original too.

Of course it's only possible if it's possible to open the PSU. Not sure about the 65XE, but the Spectrum +3 was with screws as far as I can remember.

I agree that the whole lead with sealed plug would be the ideal solution and relatively easy to do in the +3. Nevertheless, I'm going to give these plugs a try and see how they work out.
