That is indeed correct, rev5.2 made this pad redundant and it will be removed on the next 2600 rev7.0
(rev6 is for the 5200/400/800/XL/XE)

Interested, but first a question. I have both the "Vader edition" and a Junior. Is the board compatible with both? Havent decied yet which one to mod (but Im leaning towards Junior because its more reliable in general with cleaner connectors)
