I am offering a working ATARI 400 (UK PAL version) with 16K RAM including original Tadmod PSU (UK plug), original manual, original packaging, and original styrofoam inserts.

The computer is in very good condition for its age and boots into memopad mode upon firing it up. The 400 has been upgraded at one point from 8K to 16K by Atari as demonstrated by the small sticker with the newly allocated serial number BY107370-16. Entering the "PRINT PEEK(106)+256" command with the BASIC cartridge inserted gives a result of 16384, which is the number of bytes in RAM; if you divide that number by 1024 to get the number of kilobytes, you get 16, equalling 16K of RAM (see last photo for proof). The 400 was also tested successfully using a Donkey Kong games cartridge (which is not part of the sale); that also includes joystick port #1, which worked perfectly. LED and keyboard both fully functional. No further testing.

Main unit comprises slight traces of yellowing and use but there are no cracks or broken-off parts. The machine should be cleaned and overhauled for safe operation. The cardboard of the original packaging and the styrofoam inserts are complete with signs of use and age. The original brick-style PSU is clean and possesses a UK plug, for which you need a simple adapter depending on your location (e.g. Germany, Poland and other countries with 230 V). Please check photos carefully for the device's physical state. LCD TV, joystick, plug adapter, BASIC and Donkey Kong cartridges are not part of this offer. No returns, no replacements, no warranties. It becomes higher and higher ? Or do I misunderstand it completely?
