I am offering a used, working ATARI Mega 1 main unit with blitter chip, internal floppy disk drive and manual in German (not pictured). The main unit has been tested successfully in both low- and mid-res resolution/multicolour mode. The internal floppy disk drive manages to load the classic game "Elite" without any problems. The floppy eject button is slightly jammed and you need to extract floppy disks manually. The audio output works flawlessly as does the status LED. Battery compartment is clean and protective lid is present but not very firm. No further testing. The TOS version seems to be from 1987. Due to the old age of the machine there is no guarantee. The Mega 1 possesses traces of slight yellowing and use, but no ruptures or broken-off parts. The device should be cleaned and overhauled for safe operation.
