Well... When I've put them into the parcel, they were is perfect condition...
I think the postmen have played football with it.:(

I'm really annoyed and upset.:mad::overactor:
Anyway, what do you want to do? You send me back, and I'll repair or you prefer that I send you the pins for replacing by yourself?
Please, let me know.

no problem, i repair from my self and game a football with ass of the postmen

positive feedback for 3 adapter soon

TorajaBoy and Flare have been integrated into the first batch.:)

Rakeim132 doesn't find an A1000, so he prefer to wait.
I was also into the table, but I have no time to install the Kickstart Switcher into my second A1000. I'm make later.

Switchers sent today to jkonstan & zerec.
News pins also sent to piacc64.

Actually, I'm waiting for switcher's version wanted by: LTAC, RobertB and Chiark. Please, could you answer my PMs?

Hi,
I was wondering if you have any more boards available. I am having trouble figuring out which one I will need.
I have an NTSC 1000 on its way to me, however, I plan on switching the NTSC Agnus and Crystal to PAL versions.
Which board will I need if I mod to PAL? Is it about the signals or where the connections get made?
I'm thinking I'd like 1 x NTSC+ plus 1 x PAL but do you have photos of both PAL versions?
Thanks squareeyes

It's not a problem of video standard. It's just that the implentation of the components is different.
Here is a picture of the PAL version 1:

The PAL version 2 is the same as the NTSC one. But to connect it onto the motherboard, you'll need to solder a 28 pins socket.
If your Amiga is a NTSC version, you'll need the NTSC version of the switcher, also if you change the video standard.
If you want, you can declare your interest. I'm going to make a new batch of PCBs.

Actually, I'm waiting for information about switcher's version wanted by: LTAC, RobertB and Chiark. Please, could you answer my PMs?
If no answer received before the end of the week, the switchers will go to the members who are waiting for the second batch.

This is the end of the week... and Chiark, RobertB & LTAC didn't answer to all the PMs I have sent... Well, it's logic... they can't answer to a PM that they don't open... so their Kickstart switchers are now for the members who have declared their interest for the second batch.

TorajaBoy, tokyoracer & Monkeh, your Kickstart switchers are ready. I have also send a PM to you... and you didn't open it. I'm waiting until wednesday evening for news from you. Without news, same thing as behind.

Buzzfuzz, I have send you a PM about your 2 Kickstart Switchers. The parcel is ready.

Finally managed to find some time to mount the KS switcher into one of my A1000a...:)

But I did some changes in the wiring part...now it is easier to remove the switcher (for whatever reason...:overactor:). The main reason of my mod is to avoid soldering to the PAL chip and to the CPU (as I have plans to change cards there)...Just needed to find some easy locations of the signals where I could solder a pin/connector....

Below are some pics of my mod....if anyone interested....

You have made a good job Croupier! I see were you have pick up the signals onto the piggyboard.
For the Reset signal, I assume that you have searched somewhere else onto the motherboard.
Since we have to modify the motherboard, it's not a big problem to solder wires.
If we want to remove the adapter, we'll need to modify again the motherboard!

So, actually, the simpliest way is to solder the three wires onto the DAUGCAS IC like that:

Wire 1 -> PIN2 of DAUGCAS
Wire 2 -> PIN9 of DAUGCAS
Wire 3 -> PIN8 of DAUGCAS (RESET signal - Instead of PIN18 of 68000)
