Switcher arrived, thanks very much Franck, I will leave feedback as soon as I'm front of a PC.

what is the difference between the PAL and NTSC version of the board? is it regarding the piggyback?

No difference into the switcher.
The difference is on the socket PCB which allow to connect the switcher onto the motherboard. In fact, the motherboard of the PAL & the NTSC A1000 is not the same.
It important to verify the standard of the motherboard before to declare an insterest!
 
I just realized that I can't use it because of my DBK Insider extension. ;(

received my switcher today, gotta say the quality of these switchers is excellent. I will be installing into my A1000 once i receive the rest of my upgrades for my A1000.

but again, these switchers look awesome, you wont be dissappointed if you decide to order, better yet, order one!
