Just got done reading the manual. Lots of modifications required for a US 1000 I see. May want to let those interested know they need some basic soldering skills.

The installation of the Switchers is not really hard. Just need to remove the boot chips, cut some tracks, solder a resistor onto the motherboard and also some jumpers. Nothing else.
This is the beginner level in soldering. The Installation manual is free for download, everybody here can read and knows the needed mods before to declare their interest.

Added a line for BlinkyBill who has declared his interest for two PAL switchers by PM.
 
Seems the link to the manual is no longer avail. The download provider has closed. Do you have another locaion I can get it from? I want to have my 1000 ready for it when mine is ready to ship.
 
Link of the manual updated onto Mega. Shouldn't erased.
I think you have time to learn it by heart before receiving it.

Lol! Yeah I am a bit crazy like that and expect it to take a long time still. Its okay. I'm sure you know what I do as a hobby as well. I've got plenty of projects I'm working on keeping me busy.

I have declared interest about 9 month ago... no worries, I am patient and also next on the list... still hopeful :-) it will be worth it...

hey tuxbar, i got a switcher from you a year or so ago, i would like another, ntsc please. my current one works great, gotta two more a1000s, but gonna leave one stock for now.
