Interested in the new ribbon cable type, I originally had a pal V2 (same as NTSC?) so want to replace this with the new type so I can use kippers ram/cf card

Interested in:
1x PAL version

I already has a Kipper's expansion and want to upgrade my A1000 with 3.1 rom:)

Thank you, oh and I mean V2 PAL version:) Can't wait for this stuff.

Hi Hal,

There is no more V2 or V1 version for the PAL version since I have designed the ribbon switcher with an universal PCB which is connected onto the ROM sockets as shown into the pictures of the first post.
To anwser to your question, no kit version.

Kind regards

Aaa ok, I see. Is the floppy drive still fits? It looks like this ribbon cable might not fit under the fd.

Any news when can we expect the second batch? I think some of us might be able to assembly this by themselves, maybe it's an option for quicker delivery?:)

Hello,

The Switcher is not available as kit, and will not be. The second batch is started. There are 17 switchers to assemble before yours. You are at the end of the list, you'll have to wait the necessary time.
As I don't ask for money before that the switcher is ready, there is no deadline. When some switchers are ready, I contact members in the list. Asking every week will not change anything.

Priority is given to the first batch of the switcher for A500 / 2000.

If you can't wait, you can withdraw you interest.

Kind regards,
Franck.

I do not wanted to hurry up, that was not my intention. Just wanted to make things easier for you. I understand you do not want to sell as a kit because of warranty issues and so on. Rules are clear, so I'm waiting patiently:) Really appreciate your work for the Amiga community.
