Hello all,
After a C64, C128 and a 500+, I had an Amiga 1200 from 1994 to 2000. I had various add-ons for it over the years, the first of which was a Squirrel SCSI interface with a CD-ROM drive. I quickly got a Blizzard 1230-IV which was upgraded to a 1260. Around early 1997 I think, I got an Ateo Concepts tower, an IDEMux connected to an Atapi CD-ROM drive and a SCSI kit connected to an internal Zip drive. My monitor of choice was a 1084S.
PPC fever eventually got me, I purchased a 1240/PPC at the same London show where the future of the Amiga was supposed to be unveiled. This was a bitter-sweet time, full of excitement and disappointments. I felt the PPC card was a let down at the time. After some hardware issues, I sold my 1200 for a song on the old Amibench.
I kept a stack of Aminet CDs, some boxed games and various bits and bobs in storage until 3 or 4 years ago when I bought a 1200 from eBay in a bout of nostalgia. I just played a bit of Superfrog then put it in storage with the rest.
Now that I have room and time, I have taken the whole thing out of storage, bought a ACA1233 with an internal CF adapter and I feel I am back in the wonderful world of the Amiga!
Re-learning is fun so far. I enjoy playing some classic games on my 1200, rebuilding a proper Workbench setup and hope to eventually get back to some light programming.
I may pester some of you about items you are selling or general information. Thanks for having me back! :-)

Welcome. :arms It seems most of us sold our Amiga's and took a long break from them, me included. And just the same as you a wave of nostalgia resulted in me buying a A1200 off eBay. Now several Amiga's and tons of add-ons later I am enjoying our favourite computer platform again. :thumbsup2:
