Filled Bang and Olufson mx4000

I have scoured the Internet for people who service, clean and repair CRT tvs but no one will touch them.

I have a b and o mx 4000 that needs full clean, service and has a power issue soon as I switch on it goes to standby

Any CRT wiz kids here more than happy to travel to drop off im currently using a quintrix 32 inch widescreen which is terrible at 8 bit and light guns

My stepdaughter is under birmingham children's hospital so we are frequently passing there

@roy_bates dropped off lovely chap, switched my TV on infront of my very eyes, hes keeping it to service and clean it

100% recommend roy

and this one is done as well.not much to talk about gave it a clean put it back together,no more spiders making a home behind the anti glare screen,clean the inside the usual filth
doesnt need any sort of real work,its fine

didnt bother with a picture,ill go let him know its ready for pickup

i forgot to mention,and im not sure why i didnt mention it

the reason it wouldnt turn on,is becuase it was stuck in service mode,i have seen it before
it looks a bit concerning,when it does it,it wasnt a tv problem,or electrical,just a user error

i didnt try to not make him feel daft about it,becuase its easy to do,besides it could of been a real fault,i cant tell unless its infront of me
basically,if someone doesnt take these out of service mode properly the next time anyone tries to turn these on, it wont
its a quirk of this model tv,also a safty feature,yes thats sounds odd
someone had fitted a service switch to the back,its a just a non latching push to make,if a button is there,someone will press it

im glad your happy,i will say the picture needs tweeking horizontally,width and position,now ive seen it in the picture
i didnt mess with the service settings as i thought it was ok your end since you had already been in their,if your happy your happy
