Hi!

for Commodore 128:
I have for sale BASIC 8 / GEOS 128 DESKTOP EPROM with switcher.
I bought it with BASIC 8 diskettes and Spectrum 128 diskette by FreeSpirit Software.

For possible damage of diskettes I'll send it by email as D64 images.
If you want, I'll send original diskettes... no problem

100% working, perfect condition.

Price: 25 EUR (free postage inside EU) - or we can make a deal...

Also I add Turbo Assembler EPROM for free (only one pin is broken, good soldering helps inside U36 socket) in other way 100% working.

Hi is this for sale anymore, if it is i am interested i have an plastic C128D i recently got i guess it has the same kernal rom socket as an regular C128.

---------- Post added at 22:07 ---------- Previous post was at 21:23 ----------

Would this work if i put it in my stock C128D so i can use BASIC 8?
Also PM:ed seller.

So, for explain:

BASIC 8 works on every C128, but...

- if you have 16kB VDC RAM graphic modes are limited
- if you have/update VDC RAM 64kB (very cheap) BASIC 8 works fully...

I know only that first C128D - plastic had 16kB VDC RAM, later it was 64kB VDC RAM...

Download from my websitte C128 System Informaation program and run it... there you'll see amount of VDC RAM, here's link:

http://www.mirkosoft.sk/files/sysinfo75.prg

on eBay you can easy and cheap to find VDC RAM upgrade to 64kB - I think for current software it is needed...
