I have messed around with having an old a500 in the man cave (which is in the summerhouse) but its not gone so smoothly, and now the floppy drive is playing up etc, and actually I figure that as I have a spare cf adapter, and also a spare ACA1221 (cannot force myself to let go of the B1260), that I would be better replacing it with a basic a1200.
I am unwilling to put my main machine (with the B1260)out in the summerhouse being honest. The a1200 I am seeking would be a games machine for when some friends are round for some retro fun.
I do not need anything other than the machine itself. No software, mice, joysticks, or even PSU. (Might consider the hardware but don't need it).
It doesn't need to be pristine - It can be yellowed to hell, and also I would consider minor case damage.
Timing fixes/recapped would be nice but not necessary, as long as it is fully functional.
I would prefer somewhere where I could collect - so SE london/Kent, to save costs, as obviously I am looking to minimise expense on this.
