The electron keyswitches are the same as the ones in the Master 128, not the bbc micro. There were a few different versions used in the BBC Micro, it's a question of identifying which keyboard version you have and making sure you get the relevant switches. Have a peek here for more info: http://deskthority.net/wiki/Acorn_BBC_Microcomputer
The best person to speak to about them if you can't get hold of them here, is probably Retroclinic (Mark) over on the stardot forums...
i had a look at those on the Electron/Master and they aren't held into the metal part of the keyboard in the same way. The type I need has two clips at the top and bottom.
On the keyboard I'm trying to fix. a couple of them have the plastic bit that goes into the key broken off, so I do need new ones (or at least that part).
Mark at Retroclinic has them- I bought my BBC B from him and after a while the spacebar started playing up so he dropped some in the post to me. My keyswitches are the same as yours.
To keep the machine going I shaved about 1mm of the corners off an old keyswitch salvaged from a Kaypro and it fitted perfectly. I'd offer to send you some but the postage would probably cost more than finding a dead donor machine locally.
