Best and Faster Quake Port ?

Hi i'm looking for best and faster Quake Port to my A4000 060 50 mhz with Cybervision64 ? which port is best for me ?

To be honest both Clickboom's port and the one you will find on Aminet are a bit slow on 50mhz 060's, really needing 66mhz+ to get the best out of them and better still Warp3D via a Mediator/Prometheous & Voodoo3 running BlitzQuake.

My advice is just to try them both and see what works best for you, the other option is Nova's AGA port, it night actually run a little better even though it's AGA as he has done a lot of work to optimise the code.

The Clickboom version by the way is only available if you buy it.

since your running it on a rtg card that will only be able to soft render quake it wont be very fast at all.
so you probably have two choices:
clickbooms quake port.(in a smaller window to make it run a bit faster)
or just use aga and use amiquake by novercoder

+1 as you should be able to get some reasonable playability with about 70% window size

Only Clickboom version support 16 bit mode for extra colours. Every other version does not support 16 bit. Why?

Quake does need a lot of CPU to run properly, especially after the first chapter

I know Roy's 100Mhz O60 does a good job with AmiQuake

If I good remember in 97 years i played quake on my PC AMD 5x86 133mhz and was that same fps which 68060 50mhz

133 mhz AMD vs 50mhz king Motorola :double

yep,but i did mean in some ways as to how they work
