Hi

Sold, and now miss my gp32 Blu

Thinking of replacing it!

What's the best emulation handheld? I tried a gp2a ( forget the name, was supposed to be the follow up to gp32 but had naff controls), then there's the kanoo's..etc etc

Psp is too big

Shall I get another gp32? All I want it for is Atari 800, megadrive and mame

What do you suggest?

Ta :)

Hi

It emules almost everythings...

I have the GCW-Zero coming, which looks to be the most well thoughtout of them. Does DOS games and opengl too :) Have only heard great things about it, which is more than I can say for the other candidates. It was kickstarted earlier this year, so isn't quite in retail yet.

I've got DS Lite with AceKard.

Got a C64, Atari 8bit and Amstrad emulator running on it.

The DS could perhaps have a bit more oomph to run them more smoothly.

Thanks

I shall look those up!

Never considered the ds... Sorry do you mean it needs more oomph or that it actually has more than a gp32?

Cheers! :)

Psp go

Psp go

I'll throw these into the mix. Psp or psp go. Some good stuff on those, I find !!!

Sorry, in retrospective it does look a bit unclear.
The DS needs more oomph. Or possibly just more optimised code. At least the Atari emulator that I use had some trouble in sounds and music.

Thanks all,and protek :)

I have some research to do! I hadn't considered android and a ps3 pad. Prefer a smaller device... Never thought about psp go either.

Ta!

I second the PSP, and if the original is too big then take a look at the Go as already suggested. It has 16gb built in memory and you can add up to 16gb more with an M2 memory card. It's pretty good for emulation and small enough to slide into a pocket when closed. I've just grabbed one on here, had one when they came out but no way to hack it then so sold it on.

The Dingoo is great if you don't mind the small screen. I've got one but I don't play it often. The PSP is definitely a good option.

Good luck!

The Wiz, at one time, had problems with OLED death (look it up - it's pretty horrible!). It was discontinued and replaced by the Caanoo some time ago, if memory serves. Might be worth bearing in mind.

Good luck finding the right device for you. :)

People have good things to say about those JXD handhelds.
Was looking at one for myself.

Hello

Hello

I have a caanoo and it's pretty good, although I do find the screen abit small. Psp go is abit better.
