Thanks for your help. Firstly I don’t see an option to “Start Coversation” when I click on his user name.. only options there are “follow“ or “ignore”

Then if I try and send him a message through the “Start a new conversation” link in my main control panel then I get the below message:

Oops! We ran into some problems.
You may not start a conversation with the following recipients: Simon_G.
