Sold Black Amiga 500+ - Viper 520CD, 10mb Ram, 4GB CF, Rom Switcher with 1.3 & 3.1 Roms

I have been collecting Amiga and Atari computers now for over 15years and I have enjoyed every moment of it, even the most frustrating moments... However due to me loosing my job around 6 months ago it has finally come to the point of me having to sell on some of my few remaining items... It is with heavy heart that I have to sell all of my Amiga/Atari Collection so I will be listing my entire collection of systems and equipment in the coming weeks... Please keep an eye out for some really good stuff coming up for sale.


AMIGA 500+(PLUS) - £315 + postage and PayPal fees (or sent as gift)

My first system for sale is my Black Amiga 500+(PLUS) which I have used penetrating dye to give a perfect black finish both inside and out, much better then spraying IMO, and I have sourced black CDTV keyboard keys to finish it off nicely (Sacrilege to some I know but these cannot be beaten for finish). I have also replaced the feet at the bottom of the machine to black ones which are identical size and shape to the originals.

I have over the years sourced some rare items and in this machine resides a Viper 520CD with 8mb ram. This coupled together with the ram upgrade in the trapdoor gives the system 10mb. The overall SYSINFO speed test shows 5274 Dhrystones, which makes this faster than a stock A3000 running at 25mhz (Please see Photo below).

Also in this machine sits a 4GB compact flash card used as a HDD to which a fresh "basic" copy of Classic Workbench has been installed. Original workbench disks are supplied but alas do not work, though someone can try to copy back ADF's to them should they wish to. 30x disks will also be supplied as "blanks" with the machine.

For maximum compatibility an Amigakit Rom switcher is installed to switch between both 1.3 and 3.1 roms so this will make for an amazing WHDLoad gaming machine.


NOTE: As I have many machines I only wanted to have one power supply, mouse and leads to use with them all... With this in mind please note that neither the PSU, mouse or leads will be supplied with this sale.

Paypal can either be gifted or there will be a 4% surcharge on top of the asking price to cover Paypal fees. Once payment has been received then I will send the items by fully insured and tracked postage so all parties have a piece of mind.

Really sorry to hear about your situation! Sad to see ones collection go "by force" not declaring interest, but this is an awesome looking machine! If I run into this kind of money to spend on an A500+ I sure will tho

Thanks all for the kind words, it really is a good looking machine... I cannot remember the exact name of the dye I used, however, I will find out as I have some cans in the loft. All I can remember is that I purchased them from the US.

As this machines really need to find a good home I have reduced the price down to £399.
