Hi guys,

I'm looking for a Blizzard 1220/ADD4 RAM expansion.

Anyone has one left to sell?

Thanks for looking!
Cheers!

Hens teeth they are, better off getting another board IMHO, someone here (tbtorro maybe?) sold about 4 or 5 NOS units a few years ago, these were the last ones I've seen!

Not sure if this is allowed but being as they are so rare. There's one on eBay item #311861786286. I am not interested despite me having a 1220 board because I use the PCMCIA slot and can't be doing with taking RAM out when slot required.

Thanks a lot. Unfortunately this is for the 1200 board and not for the 1220. But I really appreciate it!

.
Yes allowed as its a "Buy it Now" sale.

thanks for looking.

Hi its gotta be the same card hasn't it???

Edit: No you are right, the 1200 add4 has 3 rows of pins, the 1220 add4 has 2.... seems mad, they could have held 1 part in stock. I bet the RAM is the same 70ns chips.

Judging from the add-on photo at amiga.resource.cx, it's more or less the equivalent of piggy-backing the existing RAM banks, so I bet someone comfortable with PCB design (and a 1220/4 board at hand to map the pinout) could easily design a replica. Whether demand would justify production is a different story.

I too would be like to buy one of these if anyone ends up making them.
