Hello, I have a perfectly working Blizzard 1230 MK IV Turbo Card (50Mhz - 32mb ram) and I have found an a1200 at a very good price but the mobo is revision 1D1.
( I will apply the time fixes before installing the accelerator).

Has anyone tested this card on an a1200 with this revision? Is it stable?

My motherboard is 1D1 and never had problems with exactly the same card since 1996 (bought from InfoWorld)!!!

So you are saying the a1200 (1D1) has no stability issues with this card!! 😀

Have had plenty of MkIV Blizzard 1230 cards. Ran them without any issue on revisions 1A to 2B.
Technically you don’t need timing fixes on the 1D1. The 1D4 and 2B require them. But not necessarily needed for the Blizzard cards. More for the Icomp ACA and Apollo accelerator 1240 and 1260 cards.
Would recommend a trusty Legacy Blizz MKIV over the newer stuff as it’s tried and tested.

I think blizzard has its own timing correction hardware.
Tested working in 2B without timing fixes.
ACA1230 was not working but 1233n did.

Blizzard 1230 III and IV incl. 1260 - best of the best turbo cards for A1200 and perfect compatibility - no know any issue as with ACA or others cards.

Blizzard and phase 5 - number one for A1200 and too for A4000 (GOLD CyberStorm series) :boing:(y)

Accept for the MK1 Cyberstorm 😉👍🏻

I thought the 1D1 was the one A1200 revision that didn't need timing fixes at all?
1A to 1D3. Normally no. Commodore 1D4 and 2B require them for those more accelerators that are more timing sensitive.
Most Escom (Amiga Technologies) 1D4 and 2B Motherboards had the timing fixes done in the factory. Although have heard some did slip through? Therefore E123 (R or C) and E125 (R or C) were still fitted.

Already replied (not using quotes though), if that was the case...

I just can add my experience over a period of more than 30 years..... had not 1 real issue within phase5 products in general.
