I’ve used this 1260 for 15 years or so, a lot in the past but not so often recently. Never had any issues with it. I never tampered with it, and by the looks of it no previous owner did either. The serial number sticker came off but I put some electrical tape underneath to keep it in place.
I have not used the SCSI-kit much. I just tested it now to confirm that the RAM gets recognised by the system. I had to re-seat the SCSI board a few times before it started working. I have never ever tested the actual SCSI-disk functionality.
Comes in box with sleeve. The box appears to belong to the SCSI-kit while the sleeve appears to belong to the 1260. I don’t know how that came to be, as I’m not the original owner. There are also two manuals, two disks (none of disks are from Phase5) and a SCSI-cable in the box.
As for the RAM sticks, one is marked as 16MB and recognised as such by the Amiga. The other is unmarked or I can’t decode the marking. I put it on the SCSI board and it’s recognised as an additional 16MB. So 32MB in total. I have not used any of these two RAM sticks extensively.
