Hello astoneye, it will not fit a desktop unless you remove the removeable plate and raise the amiga with a couple of feets.

And withdrawing interest. (Made some deeper researches, I didn't know SCSI can't be adressed by PPC part :( )
 
I think the only way is to carefully remove cooler, clean the PowerPC cpu and make photo. 210 MHz is not usual clock, it will be probably overclocked 160 MHz cpu (as this was very usual 15 years ago). Overclocking can be also proved when you check oscillator if that has been exchanged / re-soldered.
 
It seems to be a overclocked 160Mhz, the multipliers are at 3.5. I dont know what the standard multiplier is but as jack-3d says 210 is not usual.
