Im trying to burn protracker mods and demos to cd but my scsi cdrom wont pick the files up.im burning at 8x with nero and cant go any lower than 8x.i read somewhere that i need to burn at 4x?

Have you tried Nero with a CDROM UDF session instead of a CDROM ISO session?

Also, be sure in either case above, to finalise the Session. Only WinXP & later file systems will read Multi-Session discs afaik. With RE: to this on an Amiga filesystem, it could be what is causing you the problem.

Speed of burn should not be an issue. ;)

The A570 CD for A500/Plus is multi-session compatible, at least some other drives should be up to it too.

I've used ImgBurn in the past for making Amiga compatible CD-ROMs. I don't remember the settings, but I know it can make them.

Good luck!

If you want the disk to be readable on an Amiga, then you need to write it as RockRidge filesystem or ISO Level 2 (31 char) otherwise you may have problems with the inbuilt CD reading capabilities of the CDTV/CD32/A570

If you have an Amiga with CD ROM drive (like an A1200, A2000, A600 etc.), and the likes of CacheCDFS or AsimCDFS, they should be able to read Joilet CDs (works for me) but UDF may be a bit of a grey area (never tried UDF filesystem on an Amiga before).

Thanks again everybody.i just created multisession cd in nero at 8x speed and i burned 3 copies just to make sure and the modules show up in workbench and protracker+with multisession disks,if a module pops into your head from 20 years ago you can just download it and put it on the same disk.occ san geen by uncle tom.oh the memories:-)
