Just 2 weeks ago I was scammed by UK evilbay seller (3000+ transactions) for 500GBP.
The transaction was outside evilbay, he created invoice in PayPal and I paid with my PayPal account.

Created distpute, than elevated to claim. It took like week but yesterday PayPal confirmed that they will return my money back to credit card.
I was scarred first but it turns out good for me in the end.

What happened to that UK long time seller, my tip is hacked account. There were others in same position like me.


I dont know if same procedure could be used when sending money by PP as gift.

That is strange, I think if Virge wanted to do that he would do it on something more valuable, he's sold more expensive stuff than this in the past.
I've also sold him a bunch of stuff some years ago and everything went ok..
Maybe something has happened to him.
