Declaring that im still interested in one.
First posted my interest@1st of october 2016, please send pm when you want the money.

I have received my adapter and it's a small wonder. It is working great on my PC XT clone with IBM CGA. Great stuff.

But i got a Tandy 1000 motherboard, so i'll need a second one. So...please put me on the list for one more.

Sorry, I am still slowly working my way through existing interest!
The last batch of PCBs had a flaw and half of them just didn't work :( That's my fault for using a cheap board house but it has slowed production even more.
If you are in the list, I will try and get to you.

Isn't that a disappointment. I've had the same thing happen to me with a board I had made.

I too am fine to wait for this!

Maybe we can add a listing on post #1 so we can track the status ourselves?

Just to update. The new "fixed" PCBs are shipped and I have teh hard to source GALs already. Just waiting on the boards to arrive so I can start assembling them.

It's a slow ongoing process. I am afraid I can't afford to offer 3, it's one per customer at the moment. Sadly I just can't make them quick enough.

Would it help if some of us would not mind receiving them as DIY boards? I wouldn't mind assembling my own board and would still pay the full price if it could help speed up the delivery times. I suppose it should not be too complicated to put together. I am used to soldering SMD and although I have done a few BGAs as well, I prefer not to do those as I don't have the setup to solder those reliably. :)

I have done "kits" in the past. I won't do it again. I can test these before I ship them and KNOW they work flawlessly. This is for the benefit of both buyer and seller :) The SMT parts SUCK. The PLCC socket is not really possible to do with an iron and the 0806 resistors are so tiny it's a pain to place them.

So, sadly, no kits. I have piles of parts building up and assuming the PCBs work I should have a small batch ready to assemble when the PCBs arrive.
I've got the hang of using the solder stencil and reflow soldering the PLCC socket now at least. My top tip? Don't buy rubbish paste in a syringe from eBay and get a stencil for the all smt components. if I could reflow the resistors at the same time as PLCC socket I could do these so much quicker.

Anyway. More are coming, slowly. Sorry again for the speed of assembly but I have to fit them in around a wife and kids too.

I have done many PLCC sockets with an iron without problems (yes, it has to be done carefully and takes some time) and I am used to also handling 0603 components and even the occasional 0402, so 0806 are massive in comparison. :) But I fully understand your decision - it is a pain to deal with people who report back that this and that is not working and you can't know whether they did a proper job or not so you can end up spending more time on support than if you had just done the work yourself.
