I heard the attached song countless times during my childhood, but never knew anything of it's origin. Serious Brownie-Points are in store for whoever can give me any information.

According to wikipedia, Winamp can play MOD files.

The song is by 4-mat (as mentioned) and it's called L.F.F./lff (lff.mod), it was used in some Amiga cracktros.

It's still a MOD, just rename it to lff.mod (or whatever) and you're good to go.

The name of the composer is in the mod itself, but not the name of the song. So l.f.f. is a very good find.
If you're on a *bsd (eg. mac) or Linux based machine use 'strings <name>.mod' to find the info. Or any hexeditor will do for that matter.
