Can you use solid state capacitors for cap replacement?

Some of the migs suffering from cap failure.One question i often seen asked around the amiga forums is.Can you replace the caps on your amiga board with solid state ones?.I haven't read an definite answer.So in my effort of mythbusting,has anyone here tried with with any success?.

In a nutshell - yes

All the power in-filtering should be good.

watch your ratings, polarities and slew rates - I probably wouldn't use these on the audio/video circuit, ahh hell what am I saying - i'd try'em on that too =D
