I got the RGB adaptor today and I did some tests. It doesn't work with my External scandoublers like DCE ScandoFlickerfixer and Ez-VGA Plus.It also doesn't work with the AmigaManiac S-video adapter, Commodore A520 adapter and Scart cable of Kabelspecialist.de (Ebay).

Now the good news: It does work with my Amiga 1438S monitor and with the Scart cable from Retro Computer Shack (Ebay). The last is more important, because I like to play on my Samsung SyncMaster 941mw TV Monitor.:)

I also give you a good feedback.

Thanks for all the testing, but as I already stated in the first post, the 5V voltage output is not meant to power extra hardware, but is only present for Scart sensing purposes.
For extra safety, it is also current limited by a resistor of 27 Ohm.
Why the cable of Kabelspecialist doesn't work however, is beyond me, what kind of picture do you get, or do you get nothing at all?

Apparently it's the exception that proves the rule then.
But as long as this is the only cable that doesn't work, there's not too much to worry about.

Talking about cables, I can also supply the adaptor with the right Scart cable, if that's needed.:)

Adapter arrived and working perfect, great stuff again bud !

Feedback left

Received mine yesterday, not had a chance to test yet but I'm looking forward to doing do judging by the other remarks on this forum. Leaving feedback now.

Hello to everyone,

Beavis, i'm also interested. I'm sending you a PM as well.

Thank you in advance.

And replied.

Just some information:
I often get the question, whether these adaptors are (will) still (be) available, and the answer is: YES:)
I'm more than happy to provide the community with some home made enhancing goodies. And if it's good for the goose, then it's good for the gander...

Finally got to test this after months of it sitting around :)

It doesn't work on my 1942 (the monitor is verified to work with 15kHz from other Amigas). I get a badly scrolling / diagonal picture with the 1942, as if one of the sync lines isn't working. It does work with a SCART cable to a SCART-to-HDMI adapter to my TV.

Maybe something is wrong with the H or V sync lines on the adaptor?

Hubba hubba, been MIA for a while, and I'm sorry to hear that it doesn't work as expected.
I test them with a 1960, which works with H/V sync.
It could be possible, that some solder joint has gotten loose though.
Will send you a PM anyways.:)
