By the way, I have a question about configuring my CF card because I'm having trouble with it. I bought two CF cards (4GB and 8GB). Under Kickstart 3.1 (40.63) and Workbench 3.1 (40.42), when I try to partition, the available space is 31 MB of the total 4 GB. The 8 GB CF card isn't detected at all. I'm using the guide in post #422. Is this a problem with Kickstart 3.1 and Workbench 3.1? Is it better to order Kickstart 3.2.2 (47.111) and Amiga OS 3.2 right away? I'm returning to the Amiga after 25 years.

Hello,
Yes and no. Usual amount of available HDD space under KS3.1 with FastFileSystem (FFS) is limited to 4GB - that's correct.
However, You can use 8Gb under KS3.1 if You choose different File System (PFS) - see video guide here:


My advise is to use 3.2.x instead. It has a lot of issues solved.

Whatever You do - it'll be wrong... You can wait as long as You wish - some users just don't answer..


Normally, You can subscribe to the thread You're interested. See on the top of the page. You will get notification as soon as thread gets an update.

As for now - don't worry, You will get hardware You've paid, the only disadvantage - You will be probably unable to leave a feedback for me...
