Hi all,
Posted this in the wrong thread before. Sorry!
I recently took my CDTV apart since I needed to replace a capacitor that started to look bulging.
When putting it together again I can't for the life of me get the front display to work again. The replaced capacitor has nothing to do with the display (according to the service manual) and I have checked that there are contact from the main board to all the pins on the display. Does anyone have a clue where I should start troubleshooting? I find it very odd that the display should just stop working since it was not even out of the case. But could for instance a bad contact from one of the three very irritating connectors connecting the display to the main board have blown something? I did have problems getting them in place again...
Thanks!
