CDTV - how can I add whdload on a cf card?

Hi all

ive just got a cdtv - I'd like to have some games and demos on a cf in the living room - I could just unplug another amiga but where's the fun in that!

im guessing I need:

Ide68k
new kickstart rom - mine is certainly 1.3 - not sure or exact revision but I think it needs wb2.0+??
a cdtv specific cf card?

is this an easy one for a tech wally?
Will it still play cdtv cd games?
has it got enough ram for most amiga 500 old games and demos?

You will need kickstart 3.1 wich has a scsi.device to use ide68k. I would suggest you buy kipper2k 4/8mb with ide board, but you would still need a 3.1 rom. http://kipper2k.com/amigaforsale/

You can use Kippers 8mb card or MKL IDE card. There are other cool upgrades and things you can do. My CDTV WHDLOAD is my favourite machine;

Just a quick Q - What do the icons mean on the cdtv menu?

the two screens with horizontal lines and empty ecreen
the screen with a diagonal cdtv tv
the 1 5 10 30
