MatthiasH revised the layout and added a fix for the disable function. I currently have 7 complete kits with these "new" PCBs (colour black).

so there is a 50 pin connector on the CDTV adapter what type of connecter do you have on the SCSI to ide adapte you haver? how many pins on it ? as there are a few different types with different pin numbers like 50 ,68, and 80 I think

Cleared now. Ive ordered this one and have another one that allows an external drive to be fitted. Dont have access to the kit now so will mail back when back.
