Sold CDTV

I have a fully working CDTV with the 1500 Professional setup CIB. The only issue with this is that the 1500 add-on kit came with a regular A1010 disk drive not the black one we were expecting.

I can not find the paperwork at the moment but have it somewhere.

Also included are a number of software titles. I will get a list and update if needed.

Right, I've moderated out a load of offtopic rubbish. Now a price has been included, this sale now complies with AmiBay rules and as Davideo has said, Sveta is first in line.

I have under PayPal 20.5 "dispute transaction" and after have from the11thdoctor reply "I tried to email you..." but still waiting for shipping info/status and never have email from this user.

the11thdoctor has from me email, PM and reply via PayPal with question on shipping.

No reply where is problem with shipping.

Please has someone experience with PayPal dispute?

I do not wish to air dirty laundry but before people get wrong idea, I will comment. Here are the facts

I opened a Paypal account against my better judgement to accept payment for CDTV.

Payment was sent.

Paypal claims that there is an issue with my bank, therefore I am unable to withdraw money.

Buyer opened a dispute.

I explained situation to buyer and offered to refund his money but unable to due to funds now on hold until dispute is closed.

So it comes down to the fact that I have no way to access money and I do not wish to keep money in paypal nor open another bank account just to withdraw funds. Paypal also requires a bank account on file for them to issue a paper check.

I am not jumping through hoops just to sell one item. Buyer has two options at this point. Withdraw claim and I will refund money or file a claim and wait up to 30 days or more for refund.

Problem is I have to jump through hoops to get the money for this transaction. I had no idea dealing with Paypal would be such a pain. The Paypal account was opened just for this sale. I have not used Paypal before I use google payments.

I sent you an invoice through google payments but you refused to use, to complete transaction I opened a Paypal account but now find out that I can not get the money so what is the point. I do not want to deal with all this extra stuff.

CDTV was not sold outside of Amibay. You want to purchase item then close the claim on Paypal, I will refund money and we can complete transaction using MY preferred method of payment.

This sort of thing does happen, and unfortunately there's nothing either the 11thdoctor or sveta can do about it. Paypal has put the money on hold, and until it's "unlocked" it can't be refunded. This isn't an isolated event, unfortunately, but I guess a new international transaction of relatively high value to a newly signed up seller tripped some sort of warning at Paypal.

Hopefully now it's not in dispute the good Doctor can refund it, but knowing the machinations of Paypal, that might take a while. I would recommend a little patience on both sides, as it is frustrating for everyone involved.

Good luck chaps. The best thing I advise is to give updates regularly to each other.

Chiark is right. It's a drag I know, but the PayPal thing will just have to run it's course.

Can all members please stop declaring interest as the item is effectively sold and the parties concerned are just working through the payment details?
